What is it and Who is it for?

Eureka College is launching a series of online courses focused on Workplace Essential Skills. Individuals will have the opportunity to obtain key professional skills that employers are looking for when hiring and promoting their staff. 

 

The courses are 8 weeks in length, fully remote, and taught by Eureka College Professors. Learners will earn a certification in the form of a digital badge that can be displayed on social media.

Writing for the Workplace

Taught by Dr. Ezekiel Jarvis, this course will explore the complex act of writing to people from different areas of specialization, generations, and cultural backgrounds in the workplace and beyond. Learners will analyze conflict and discuss how it should be addressed. This course combines exercises, concrete examples, and scenarios to help learners be clear, professional, and thoughtful in their professional communication.

REGISTRATION, PAYMENT AND REFUNDS

Once registered, students will be provided log-in information to access their Eureka College student email account and the Learning Management System, Canvas. Canvas allows students to access course content for their courses, submit assignments, participate in discussions, communicate with the instructor and classmates, take quizzes and exams, and more.
